Food & Facilities

Sandscrest Conference & Retreat Center offers multiple meeting spaces. Our 1847 main house has a variety of first-floor rooms for smaller or break-out meetings. These spaces include a sun room that is wired for the internet needs of up to 10 guests. Nearby Campbell Hall has an internet-wired conference room that can seat up to 30 guests.

An on-site barn from the early 1800s – electrified but not climate controlled — provides a rustic alternative for larger groups in need of lecture, worship or performance space. When weather allows, groups can also gather on our spacious front porch or back patio or at a fire pit with seating. All of these outdoor locations have exceptional views.

There is also a lovely, simple chapel in the ground floor of our guesthouse that can accommodate 20-30 worshippers.

Wi-fi is available across the Sandscrest campus, which includes both paved and dirt-trail walking routes.

Meals

Both day-meeting and overnight guests can plan a variety of meeting snacks and full meals with Cook Chris Villamagna. Her delicious repertoire includes everything from hearty brunches to three-course dinners to high teas. And, because Sandscrest is a small-scale meeting space, she is skilled at working with food allergies and sensitivities and other dietary restrictions. Gluten-free, vegetarian, allergic to an ingredient? No problem!

Lodging

Sandscrest has 15 guest rooms with 25 beds. Six bedrooms – four of them with full, en suite bathrooms – are located in the main house. Most rooms have beds to accommodate multiple guests.

Another nine rooms are located in our adjacent guest house. One room has a full, en suite bath. The others each have an en suite sink and share six partitioned showers and toilets.

While none of Sandscrest’s historic buildings are easily accessed by wheelchair, the guest house and first flood of the main house are accessible with staff assistance.

Bed and bath linens are provided for all rooms.
